At The Power of God Ministry, we are a prayer and deliverance ministry led by the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and that He still heals, delivers, restores, and sets people free through His power. Throughout Scripture, God often used unexpected and unconventional methods to bring about healing, restoration, and breakthrough. His ways are higher than our ways, and His instructions require faith and obedience. One such example is found in 2 Kings 5, where Naaman, commander of the Syrian army, suffered from leprosy. Seeking healing, he came to the prophet Elisha expecting a dramatic display of power. Instead, Elisha sent a simple instruction: > Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean. > — 2 Kings 5:10 (NKJV) Initially, Naaman was offended by the simplicity of God's instruction. However, through the wise counsel of his servants, he chose obedience over pride. As he dipped himself in the Jordan River seven times, exactly as the man of God had instructed, the miracle took place. > So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. > — 2 Kings 5:13–14 (NKJV) This powerful account reminds us that God's methods may not always align with our expectations, but His instructions always accomplish His purpose. Healing, deliverance, restoration, and breakthrough often begin with simple acts of faith and obedience.
